DU Systemic and Strategic Approach to Education

The University Diploma (DU) “Systemic and Strategic Approach to Education” is an innovative training course offered by Paris 8 University in partnership with LACT. This training is aimed at education and helping relationship professionals, offering tools and strategies to resolve relational and psychological problems in the educational context.

Training aims  

The training aims to:

1. Develop systemic skills for managing complex situations in an educational environment.

2. Master techniques for solving psychological and relational problems with children and adolescents.

3. Improve communication strategies and relational attitudes in the field of education.

Program structure  

The DU consists of 11 modules, totaling 103 hours of theoretical and practical training. Students must also complete 100 hours of continuous assessment and personal work, including case studies, supervision preparations, multiple choice questions, and video clips. In addition, the training includes 147 hours of practical internship, leading to the writing of a final dissertation. The program is delivered entirely online, with live sessions, individual and group supervision, and group work.

Training content  

1. Introduction to Systemic Concepts:  

   - Presentation of the principles of the strategic systemic approach applied to education.

   - Exploration of constructivist and positivist paradigms, and systems theory.

2. Practical Applications:  

   - Techniques to resolve problems related to school bullying, attention disorders, and hyperactive behavior.

   - Strategies for managing teachers' psychological disorders, such as burnout and depression.

3. Specific Modules:  

   - Management of difficult situations (DYS, ADHD, HP).

   - Intervention in dysfunctional relational dynamics to refocus teaching on the relationship.
