"In individual testimonial terms, I would say for my part that our approach combines rigor and creativity, particularly in the imposed framework of encoding, through the prism proposed by Grégoire Vitry.
WHY THE RIGOR:
Indeed, this encoding exercise allows me to revisit the session and leads me to ask myself questions, generally from another angle, which makes me feel more effective in my way of intervening and giving tasks. .
- Precision in the interview: questioning, the sequence of questions, the orientation of questions
- Memorization of the elements to remember and which have been classified so to speak in the encoding: time saving and therefore gain in brevity (straight to the point)
- Strategic dialogue: the encoding therefore sheds light a posteriori in another way on the strategy developed in the session. This perspective allows me to refine the strategy and therefore to use the information and conclusions already obtained in the interview by asking myself other questions pt be at a more "meta" level, which will be useful to me if necessary in strategic dialogue
- Progression of the therapy: being more precise, centered on "efficiency" without neglecting the relationship allows me to go faster, to better measure the evolution since the measurement is a data requested in the encoding from the first to the last session
- Progress in the expertise of the schemes vs their relevance
- Progress in the accuracy of the tasks to be proposed to patients / clients as well as the way of presenting and evaluating them
WHY CREATIVITY:
This work, which I call preparatory work, gives me more freedom for the next session. It releases me in a way a form of additional listening, enhanced attention and creativity which is the very essence of our model.
- The framework to be respected gives me a footing and allows me to strengthen my expertise, to be more attentive, as my attention, demobilized from better controlled elements, allows me to detect weaker signals.
- This gives space to go further, it seems to me, particularly in listening, which strengthens the relationship and therefore efficiency.
- The mastery gives me spontaneity and allows it seems to me both a finer adaptation to the singularity of the person and at the same time the possibility of creating, metaphors, tasks etc.
In conclusion, I have spoken here at the individual level of my experience, but I find that there is an overall systemic benefit in all proceeding in this way because the sum of the experiences and their confrontation makes it possible to broaden, to ask other questions, to collect expertise, to refine it and therefore to create again and again and I find this very stimulating because the strategic approach is in essence both a mix of extreme precision and rigor (the strategic aspect) and creativity (the relational and human aspect). For me it is this mixture, rigor and creativity, which makes the efficiency, the flexibility and the extreme elegance of the brief strategic approach, and its potential for movement. In this sense, the LACT initiative seems to me to be a real research and innovation initiative capable of consolidating and expanding our approach. "
