The aging population, the handicap of children being better and better detected, companies have more and more to manage the problems of their employees who are at the same time family caregivers.
They now have 1 family carer out of 10 employees; tomorrow, it will be 1 out of 6. These family carers are on average absent 16 days a year.
This generates 30 to 40% of depressed, diabetic, hypertensive people, plus a few other pathologies and of course, in addition to this social cost, a financial cost for the companies affected.
Our firm intervenes in this context, at the request of treating physicians, labor or HRDs.
Our methodology:
It is obviously based on listening, but not only psychologically; it aims to solve problems by helping the person affected to find new resources.
We first make an operative diagnosis by individual telephone or we involve the helper in a discussion group, via a web conference or an audio conference. These two modes of intervention allow exchanges with other caregivers; they are supervised by professionals.
Steps :
- first identify the difficulties
- identify the people involved
- get the caregiver's perspective
- detect what contributes to maintaining the problem(s)
- check that the helper can be mobilized
Our aim is to stop the symptoms and enable the caregiver to acquire better resources, for example by ensuring that they do not continue to minimize the problem.
That's why we call this approach ecological.
We then give him the keys to the right attitude to adopt:
- what to do
- in what form are we going to say it
- And how
Our intervention is always neutral, external, anonymous and benevolent.
The company receives a summary if it is the sponsor of the intervention.
