      Managing change

      Channeling resistance to achieve change

      Roberta PRATO PREVIDE

Member of the Center for Strategic Therapy
      directed by Prof. Giorgio Nardone

Through concrete case studies, you appropriate the implementation of the strategic systemic approach in business . This training explores the resources of the Problem Solving methodology for interventions in complex organizations: the pitfalls to avoid in order to best stimulate the learning process, the natural resistance to change, the potential for strategic incapacities.

      Description

This 6-session module aims to recognize the type of strategic change depending on the organizational context and the most effective strategic problem-solving techniques for situations of crisis or planned transformations. The module alternates short theoretical parts with concrete applications on cases prepared ad hoc or brought by the participants.

This module puts the student in a position to apply the learning related to change management and the systemic-strategic model at the individual level, in sub-groups and in plenary. The topics covered range from managing change in the company, to the different types of change and learning, how to recognize, circumvent and manage the main resistances to change; how to recognize and manage strategic incapacities, becoming familiar with the model of strategic problem solving in organizational contexts.

By dealing with concrete cases, the students compare their observations and their hypotheses in order to integrate and apply the main concepts of the approach, the elements of the frame of reference and the different characteristics of the intervention (the problem-solving sequence , the type of resistance and the relational position and communication to be used, etc.)

These online courses will be given in Italian with simultaneous oral translation into French.
