Strategic Brief Therapy, founded by Paul Watzlawick and Giorgio Nardone, is based on a systemic vision of the world and of the human being. Composed of innovative therapeutic techniques and around thirty specific treatment protocols developed for different psychopathologies, some of which have become real reference interventions. Brief Strategic Therapy aims to achieve a rapid and concretely verifiable resolution of many psychological and relational disorders.

      Description

Clinical Masters in Strategic Brief Therapy training for students on the Clinician advanced course includes 53 hours of lessons and approximately 50 hours of personal work.

      • 100% online, it alternates face-to-face half-days, individual and collective supervision, individual or sub-group working time.
      • It is provided by specialized international trainers from the Center for Strategic Therapy, LACT, scientific research and the university.

      Openings/specialization

The “ Clinical Masters in Strategic Brief Therapy ” training enables students to acquire techniques, strategies, therapeutic stratagems and specific protocols to treat different types of psychopathologies, some of which have become veritable best practices.

      Formation's goal

Understand your clinical practice on the main psychopathologies from an interactional, systemic and strategic perspective and implement different treatment protocols for the most common psychological disorders, according to the therapeutic approach developed by Giorgio Nardone and Paul Waltlawick, based on the results of the 'School of Palo Alto.

Skills acquired at the end of the training

The training is based on an intervention strategy adapted to help the patient relieve his psychological and relational suffering. It aims to:

      • acquire skills in clinical intervention,
      • describe the dysfunctional and pathogenic regulatory dynamics associated with the main psychopathologies (relationship of self to self, of self to others, of self to the world) using the patient's perceptual and reactional processes in order to orient the most appropriate intervention strategy more effective and efficient,
      • adjust his posture as a intervener and his strategic communication according to the personality of the patient and the nature of his psychopathology in order to consolidate the therapeutic alliance and the effectiveness of the intervention.
