Plural connections
The digital revolutions have profoundly changed our means of communication and our ways of relating. At the same time, the Covid crisis and successive confinements have accelerated these transformations and, faced with the sharp increase in mental health disorders over this period, new tools to support mental health have multiplied: remote consultations, chatbot therapists , therapeutic apps accessible free to all, etc. But what are the consequences of these profound changes on therapeutic practices and on the therapeutic relationship? Do remote therapies work? How is the therapeutic alliance built online? What place can AI have in therapies? Can a therapeutic chatbot replace a therapist? What are its limits? Can it be dangerous?
At the same time, the need to consider the individual in relation to himself, his body and his emotions, with others and with his environment has broadened a vision of mental health locked in a medicalized prism with new practices, marking an expansion multidisciplinary therapeutic approaches with all kinds of approaches. How to navigate these multiple proposals? How can we define what we call integrative medicine today?
In order to address these new challenges in mental health, Professor Gérard Ostermann will present integrative medicine and the new challenges of mental health.
Jeffrey Jackson will tell us about the studies carried out using data from the SYPRENE practice and research network on the efficiency of online therapies, and Barbara Liano and Olivier Brosseau will introduce the new SYPRENE.com and SYPRENE.org platforms.
These conferences will be followed by thematic workshops, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Workshop 1: Clinic
Dr. Géraldine Talbot, addictologist psychiatrist, director of the citizen association CaPASSCité and leader of the digital project labeled state start-up “Oz Ensemble” will present to us the advantages of digital technology in the Oz Ensemble project.
Workshop 2: Clinic
Professor Padraic Gibson and Claudette Portelli, members of the OCD Clinic, will discuss the effectiveness and particularities of online consultations in their practices.
Workshop 3: New therapeutic digital tools and problem solving
Join Barbara Liano and Nelly Jouan for a unique participatory workshop, which offers you the opportunity to work directly on a burn-out situation, whether for yourself or someone close to you. Through practical exercises and guided discussions, you will discover and apply the collective intervention methodology of Problem Solving developed by LACT, a problem solving technique resulting from the systemic approach.

| Doctor-researcher in psychology, graduated from the Palo Alto school, he has worked for several years with Giorgio Nardone, Nathalie Duriez, Michael Hoyt, Teresa Garcia, Jean-Jacques Wittezaele, Wendel Ray and the MRI in order to promote research and training in systemic approach. Since 2016, he has been developing SYPRENE a PRN network (Thurin et al., 2012) using a systemic approach, allowing in particular to improve his practice in close collaboration with the academic world. He is also in charge of the LACT international school and the International Webinar Brief Therapy congress. He also graduated from EM Lyon and has a master's degree in Applied Mathematics. Gerard OSTERMANN
| Professor of therapeutics in internal medicine since 1983 and specialist in cardiology and angiology since 1979. An eminent figure in the medical field, he also holds degrees in internal medicine, pharmacology, and trained in analytical psychotherapy as well as EMDR, HTSMA, narrative therapy and TCC. Founder and President of the Regional College of Aquitaine Alcoologists (CRAA) and administrator of the French Society of Alcoology, he also chairs the Bordeaux Institute of Eating Behaviors. As a member of the Scientific Council of several specialized journals, he plays a key role in the advancement of knowledge in hypnosis and brief therapies. Active in teaching, he is involved in several university degrees in France and abroad, particularly in the fields of alcoholology, clinical hypnosis, and eating disorders. A recognized trainer at LACT, he also contributes to the transmission of knowledge in systemic therapy. A prolific author, he participates in the writing of several medical journals and is a member of the Société des Gens de Lettres. Jeffrey JACKSON

Jeffrey B. Jackson is an associate professor at Brigham Young University, where he directs the Family Therapy Effectiveness Laboratory. As a researcher-practitioner, his research focuses on the effectiveness of psychotherapeutic interventions (e.g., brief strategic systemic therapy, couples therapy, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, panic disorders), protective factors and risk of the quality and stability of couple relationships, ambiguous loss and disability. He has clinical experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups at all stages of life and in all settings, in a wide range of areas. Her clinical specializations include relationship distress, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, disability, ambiguous loss, singleness, premarital counseling, adolescents and parent-child relationships, and reactive attachment. Dr. Jackson has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences. CONFERENCE : “Artificial Intelligence in Brief Strategic and Systemic Therapy: Improving Clinical Research and Practice” Artificial intelligence is revolutionizing the therapeutic landscape by offering new tools and possibilities to practitioners and clients. In this presentation, we will explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can be integrated into clinical research and brief strategic and systemic therapy (SBST). AI can play a critical role in various aspects of clinical research, including helping to design research protocols, automating data collection processes, translating measurements, and comparing results in different cultural contexts. We will discuss ethical aspects of AI integration, such as protecting patient privacy and managing data in accordance with research ethics approvals. Ultimately, AI has the potential to complement the therapist's role in providing effective, culturally competent care, but it also raises questions about the human element in therapy that we must continue to address.

| Dr Géraldine Talbot is an addiction psychiatrist and director of the civic association CaPASSCité. This association manages two medico-social structures called Center for Supportive Care and Prevention in Addictology (CSAPA) in Ile de France and carries the digital project labeled state start-up "Oz Ensemble". She also works as a child psychiatrist in sector 93I03, as functional unit manager of the “Accueil Consultations Ados” in Montreuil in another part of her professional activity. This specialized unit offers a support and support system specifically adapted to the needs of adolescents in situations of vulnerability and psychological suffering. | Stefani Bartoli is a psychologist, psychotherapist, international trainer of the strategic model and teaches clinical master's and management courses in higher education. He is Giorgio Nardone's right-hand man and operational director of the Arezzo Strategic Therapy Center. His knowledge of psychology, leadership, management, strategic communication and business, combined with problem-solving strategies, has allowed him to become a consultant to large companies and multinationals. He is a lecturer at the university on “clinical interview techniques”. CONFERENCE: “Why is online therapy effective in the treatment of OCD?” From clinical research carried out in specialist OCD clinics in Malta, Italy, Ireland and France, we have found that online therapy is surprisingly effective for OCD patients and, in some respects, potentially more effective than conventional face-to-face treatment methods. In addition to being a versatile and convenient option for treating mental health issues in general, online therapy offers a number of significant benefits specific to people with OCD, including access to therapists who are specialized and experienced in OCD, working in real-world environments, addressing resistant patients who have difficulty leaving their 'safe place', while providing close support, even between sessions. Clinical research conducted in OCD clinics provides a better understanding of how strategic online therapy can improve the therapeutic alliance and treatment adherence, even in the most resistant cases of OCD. |
