Origins and mission

The Palo Alto School has its roots in the work of the Mental Research Institute (MRI) in Palo Alto, California. Founded in the 1950s, this school revolutionized the understanding of relational dynamics and communication processes. It is distinguished by its constructivist approach, affirming that reality is a subjective construction of each person.

LACT was created to adapt and promote these approaches in France, integrating the principles of brief therapy and systemic intervention. Its objective is to offer training for effective solutions to psychological and relational problems based on techniques such as problem solving and strategic communication.

Activities and programs

LACT offers various online and face-to-face training programs, suitable for mental health, education and management professionals. These training courses, certified Qualiopi and Datadock , allow you to acquire skills in brief systemic therapy and hypnosis, developed by experts from the Palo Alto School.

Conferences and research

Its founders

The co-founders, Claude de Scorraille and Grégoire Vitry, are central figures in the development of these programs. Claude de Scorraille, psychologist and psychotherapist, directs the OCD and Anxiety Disorders Clinic, while Grégoire Vitry, doctor of psychology, is involved in research and promotion of the strategic systemic approach.
