The systemic and strategic approach

It is based on an intervention method developed by the School of Palo Alto and developed by its current research centers. Its specificities and originality allow you to:  

• to know how to apprehend the complexity of human relationships and bring a biopsychosocial vision to the psychological and relational problems that develop in ever more volatile, unpredictable, complex and ambiguous contexts (VUCA in English). 

• to be strategic in terms of relational regulation by relying on 2 essential techniques which are problem solving and strategic communication, which make it possible to reduce the complexity of a relational situation without distorting it and to obtain effective operational effects and sustainability in resource development and problem solving.

• Officially representing the Mental Research Institute of Palo Alto, the LACT intervention, research and training center offers you long and short training courses, all oriented towards mastery and expertise in the implementation of mental health. strategic systemic intervention in different sectors of society (helping relationship, care, education, legal, etc.)

Relationship Clinician for Clinical Masters students training includes 150 hours of lessons, 3 individual supervision sessions of 45 minutes and approximately 150 hours of personal work. It makes it possible to acquire a second general level in methodology and practice in the strategic systemic approach.

• 100% online, it alternates face-to-face half-days, individual and collective supervision, individual or sub-group working time.

• it is provided by specialized international trainers from the medical world, business, scientific research and universities.

Openings/specialization

The level " Clinician of the relationship for the students of the Clinical Master " makes it possible to acquire a specialization of knowledge and additional transversal and transferable practical skills for different types of activities and functions of the professionals of accompaniment, education and the helping relationship or those involved in the clinical world.
At the end of this training, you obtain a diploma of Clinician of the Relationship.

• Structure a strategic systemic intervention using the problem solving methodology and strategic questioning in order to develop an appropriate intervention strategy

• Implement an effective intervention strategy acting on the emotional, behavioral, cognitive and interactional levels in order to implement, support and consolidate the change

• Adapt his posture as a speaker and his communication according to the personality of the patient and the nature of his difficulties in order to consolidate the therapeutic alliance and the effectiveness of the intervention

• Develop their learning using the tools of self-observation of practice in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their interventions

Targeted audience :

Prerequisites: 

• Have obtained the Clinical Masters 
• Correct command of French (being able to express oneself orally and in writing
• Commitment to practicing intervention sessions
• Digital prerequisites:
  • Have a computer (with camera and microphone) and a phone in good working order

• Have a regularly used email address
• Have internet access with sufficient speed (videoconferencing, video playback)

• Have a place suitable for monitoring the training

• Know how to use basic digital tools: internet, messaging, search engine
• Know how to use word processing tools, spreadsheets and presentation tools (power point type)

• Live distance courses integrating simulations, role-playing, exercises and case studies to promote the participation and involvement of all students and interaction with teachers
• Simultaneous translation of courses given by international trainers
• A course rhythm allowing the integration of personal work
• Interactive and experiential approach
• Individual work, in pairs and sub-groups during and outside the sessions

• Individual rate : €5,400 including tax before June 15 (€5,900 including tax after June 15)
• Company and convention rate : €6,500 including tax
• Possibility of payment in 3 instalments + €50 administration fee 
• Possibility of payment in 10 installments + €150 administration fee

> 46 lessons of 3 hours each, weekly rhythm between October and June, excluding school holidays,
> 16 hours of international Webinar in brief therapy (4 hours in January, March, June and September 2022)
