“A systemic vision of the family”
This training session explores the different models of interaction within families from a systemic and strategic perspective allowing intervention on redundant and dysfunctional patterns.
Description
Family therapy is very specific and complex because you have to deal with several people. It is therefore based on one or more relational systems between the members, which is why the intervention must be carried out with the greatest rigor.
This module allows, with a systemic and strategic vision, a better understanding of the functioning of this type of problem and sheds light on the position that the therapist must adopt.
Objective of the module
- Analyze family systems in their structure and functional organization
- Decipher, in the context of an intervention, the functions of the symptoms presented by different members of the family
- Integrate the articulations that exist between the intra-psychic functioning of individuals and the family they constitute
- Develop systemic practices in broader contexts (schools, nurseries, hospitals, educational services, etc.)
Module program
Skills acquired at the end of the training (pedagogical objectives)
- Identify key interaction patterns using the systemic-strategic perspective.
- Formulate alternative strategy hypotheses using strategic problem solving techniques.
- Be able to identify the problematic interactional cycle that is the result of attempted solutions that do not work in the family dynamic.
- Adjusting one's posture as a speaker and one's strategic communication according to the personality of the patient(s) in order to reinforce the therapeutic alliance and the effectiveness of the intervention

- Any student or professional in the field of accompaniment and helping relationship

Nathalie DURIEZ : clinical psychologist, family therapist, lecturer in clinical and psychopathological psychology (IED), educational manager of the Master 1 Clinical Psychology (IED), of the DFSSU Family clinic and systemic practices, of the DFSSU Interventions in child protection and of DESU Addiction support.

Evaluation and monitoring methods
Obtaining the certificate for this module requires:
- to have followed at least 75% of the course
- to have obtained a score of 7.5 in the MCQ
Assessment of student satisfaction
At the end of the training, a satisfaction questionnaire will be completed by each participant so that they can assess the relevance of the content of the training with regard to their professional practice and the achievement of their objectives.
