1- Context
Suffering at work has negative and costly consequences for the company:
> Direct : absenteeism / internal – external conflicts / disorganization
> Indirect : reputation / extension of conflicts / collective performance / loss of turnover
According to the 2011 edition of the annual barometer of the Observatory of life at work (OVAT), 40.7% of employees feel exposed to stress in their company
300 to 400 work-related suicides per year in France according to Sylvie Brunet du Cese.
Between 50 and 60% of all lost working days are more or less directly related to stress. This cost would be €20 billion in the European Union - Sources: Doctor Patrick Légeron / Stress at work2- Characteristics of the offer
a – Operative diagnosis of problem solving © (1 session)
Objective : to enable employees to better identify their difficulties and assess their needs to resolve them
The person in charge of the diagnosis is a coach, psychologist or psychotherapist from LACT.
This device makes it possible to deal with emergencies and to give time to locate the problem and treat it.
b – Individual problem-solving support © by telephone or in Paris (10 sessions maximum)
The individual support offered in the context of interviews with a speaker from the LACT firm first of all offers the employee a space to speak in which he will be able to talk about himself, take stock of his situation and share his feelings.
It is also and especially for the collaborator the possibility of setting up thanks to the work with the speaker a strategy of resolution of problem.
The method of the firm LACT makes it possible to solve the problems in 10 sessions maximum .
Calls can be either anonymous and/or initiated by HR managers, CSE, occupational doctor, infirmary, etc.
c– Audio discussion group, MOOC/web-conference or face-to-face for employees or HR managers, CHSCT, etc.
The collective approach, in the form of discussion groups, workshops or training, is complementary and must be able to rely on the issues identified in the context of individual support actions.
Gathered in small discussion groups through audio or web-conferences, employees have the opportunity to reflect together on their experiences and their feelings, exchange and share their experience, compare a way of being and doing.
Time being a very rare and very precious commodity for HR managers or employees, the audio or web-conference formula allows them to attend these support groups directly without having to travel.
Actions aimed at employees can therefore take several forms:
- information/awareness/prevention on various topics such as relationship problems, questions around psychosocial risks, conflict management, preventing burn-out, getting out of harassment, better establishing one's leadership, dealing with incivility, etc. .
- training to better support managers
- devices to manage the tension between work and private life
Only telephone access (+ internet - optional) is necessary!
Methodology of the firm LACT
The symptoms of a distressed employee are the consequences of a dysfunctional way they react to a problematic situation (sometimes the best intentions produce the worst effects). The collaborator has the resources to find solutions to the psychological and relational difficulties to which his position subjects him.
How … experts in relational regulation, the speakers at LACT know how to manage paradoxes, contradictions and beliefs by relying on a rigorous methodology: the problem-solving® resulting from the work of the School of Palo-Alto.
It is the task of LACT workers to help these collaborators overcome their temporary inability to find solutions.
The modalities of LACT interventions are as follows:
- An approach centered on the relationship and interactions between individuals
- An approach focused on problem solving and the treatment of suffering that sometimes remains without a long-term solution (depression, post-traumatic stress, work on bereavement, isolation, stress, burn-out, harassment, manic depression, etc.)
- Direct or indirect interventions
- Brief interventions of 1 to 10 sessions maximum
- An approach that leads to lasting change
- Average problem resolution rate: 87%
- Practitioners of psycho-pathology and brief therapy: the same intervention model adapted for each context and each situation.
Official representatives of the Palo Alto school. Grégoire Vitry, Doctor-researcher in psychology and systems scientist - Claude de Scorraille, psychologist and systems scientist - Olivier Brosseau, therapist and systems scientist coach
